1. Guided Trips & Excursions

BOOKING

Upon booking, the client will receive an electronic confirmation. Please refer to the section “Cancellation Policy” for more details. All communication between the client and Trolltunga Adventures will be conducted via email.

AGE LIMIT

Participants must be at least 15 years old to join our tours. If you are younger and traveling with a responsible parent or guardian, please contact us in advance before booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations are subject to a non-refundable administration fee of NOK 450 per person.
Full refund (minus the NOK 450 fee) for cancellations made at least four weeks before departure.
No refund for cancellations made less than four weeks before departure (see Unforeseen Circumstances for exceptions).
A minimum of three participants is required for a tour to proceed. While this is rarely an issue, if we must cancel due to insufficient bookings, you will receive a full refund.

Date Changes:

Requests to reschedule are treated as cancellations and require a new booking. The same cancellation fees and deadlines apply.
Trolltunga Adventures reserves the right to decline date change requests without further explanation.

LANGUAGE

All communication and tours are conducted in English or Norwegian. Our guides are

bilingual (Norwegian/English), with English as the primary language during tours.

Travel Insurance

All participants must have valid travel insurance before departure.
Trolltunga Adventures is not responsible for:
- Personal injury, accidents, illness, or death.
- Theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
- Any other unforeseen incidents.
If a participant lacks travel insurance, they may be denied access to the tour with no refund.

TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE

We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance, which is typically available through your regular insurance provider.

Visa Requirements

Trolltunga Adventures is not responsible for visa-related issues.

If a tour is booked before obtaining a visa and the visa is denied, no refund will be provided.

Clients with Allergies or Medical Conditions

Participants with allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or disabilities requiring special arrangements must inform us before departure to ensure accommodations can be made.

Behavior & Conduct

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all, participants must follow all tour guidelines.
Anyone who disregards safety rules, ignores guide instructions, or behaves disruptively may be excluded from the tour without refund.
Drug use and excessive alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Trolltunga Adventures reserves the right to cancel or adjust tours due to unforeseen

circumstances, including:

Natural disasters, extreme weather (storms, heavy rain, fog), or blocked roads.
Labor disputes or other uncontrollable events.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to such incidents.
Participants may be turned away if they lack the required fitness level for the trek. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

Punctuality & No-Shows

Clients must arrive on time at the designated meeting point.
Late arrivals and no-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Meeting times are provided in your confirmation email and on our website. It is the clients responsibility to arrive on time.

Transportation & Airfare

Airfare, bus, train, and taxi fares are NOT included in the tour price.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the meeting point.
We provide all necessary information, including timetables and pricing.

2. Accommodation

The following terms apply to all accommodation bookings made through Trolltunga Adventures, including reservations via our website or third-party providers.

Rates & Pricing

Agreed rates are binding for both parties.
Prices are based on current tax regulations and may be subject to change due to external factors, such as increases in service costs, taxes, or fees.

Changes & Cancellations

Flexible Rate Bookings:
- Can be modified or canceled free of charge before the cancellation deadline specified in your confirmation email.
- Cancellations made after the deadline (including “no-shows”) will incur a full charge for the booking.
Non-Refundable Bookings:
- Cannot be canceled, amended, or refunded, even in the case of a no-show.

Booking Guarantee

All bookings require a prepaid guarantee via:

A corporate agreement,
A travel agent, or
A valid credit card.

3. Force Majeure

Trolltunga Adventures is not liable for events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Extreme weather conditions (floods, earthquakes, storms, etc.).
Natural disasters or acts of terrorism.
Utility failures (electricity, gas, water, etc.).
Structural collapses or equipment failures.

No compensation or refunds will be issued in such cases.

4. Legal Jurisdiction

All disputes between Trolltunga Adventures and its clients shall be governed by Norwegian law.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the legal venue will be the Oslo District Court.
